John Gough (1874 – 5 December 1930) was an English professional footballer who played as a right half. He was born in Penistone, Midlothian.
Gough joined Bradford City from Burnley in April 1902. He made five League appearances for the club, before moving on to East Stirlingshire, where he scored 1 goal in 33 League appearances for the "Blues".
He played for a number of non-League clubs, including Harrogate Town, Bradford Park Avenue, Ashton National and Hollinwood.
